Over 12 million Africans from places like Conakry, Guinea; Freetown, Sierra Leone, Monrovia, Liberia, Lagos, Nigeria; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and other parts of Africa live around the world now. Many of them earn a good living and sometimes try to support charities that help Africans improve their lives.

FIVE DOLLARS A MONTH IS ENOUGH:

Many Africans living overseas can easily afford to invest $5 a month in the educational advancement of people in Africa. If only 100,000 African around the world become members of (PLFEAIF) and donate mere $5 per month to the foundation, then $500,000 a month or $6 million a year can be collected by (PLFEAIF) and injected into projects that modernize, strengthen, and expand the educational infrastructure of African Nations with the success and the credibility of Papas Land Family Educational Advancement International Foundation (PLFEAIF).

A LONG-TERM VISION

Over the years, many families would mostly increase their donations and become active participants. Initially, this Foundation will aim at the African community in USA, CANADA, UK, EUROPE, and Middle Eastern countries and promote the ideas of establishing of Educational Foundation in every major city of the world. Under the common name Papas Land Family Educational Advancement International Foundation and incorporated as legal charities in each country where the Foundation operates.

AWARD SCHOLARSHIP TO STUDENT IN POVERTY

Papas Land Family Educational Advancement International Foundation intends to award scholarships to deserving students in Africa who are living in poverty. The scholarships will be awarded according to criteria like household income and academic achievement.

The total number of scholarships awarded in a given year shall depend on the PLFEAIF Funds available in the year and the prevailing policy of PLFEAIF. Scholarship holders have to compete every year to maintain their scholarship.

I WANT TO LEARN OR I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL

Any Female or Male from low income or poor family contacting the Papas Land Family Educational Advancement International Foundation organization via a letter or telephone call or an email or verbally saying, I WANT TO LEARN OR I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL, will receive immediate assistance from (PLFEAIF) Volunteers and staff. Immediate efforts will be made to develop an educational plan for the person requesting education.

The type of education offered by the Foundation for the individual can be formal or may be informal self-paced learning, either technical or nontechnical.

YEARLY MEMBERSHIP

In any city where Papas Land operates, anyone could become voting member of Papas Land Family Educational Advancement International Foundation by Donating $5 per month to the organization. When the funds collected from the monthly donation and other fundraising activities accumulate to certain amount, that chapter/branch will participate in well-defined educational project in each country. For example donating computers and other hardware to a particular school or funding the construction of a new classroom building.

Papas Land is a 501C3 charity registered with the State of Maryland and the IRS.

We are open for any Donation of your choice but our main needs are school supplies and cash. We also would appreciate donations of books, gently used children’s bicycles. Donations of used computers in good working order are also welcome!

Those school supplies and books will go to children in Nigeria.
We are also collecting donations to purchase a 15-passenger van for our transportation services.
