FOUNDER

Founder/Director: Mr. Felix Ogunduyilemi

“I don’t judge people who fall into poverty. There are so many ways to fall into poverty and not be able to escape, including health problems, addiction, psychological problems, abuse, and more.

Doing things for others is something that money cannot buy. It is a priceless act that returns an abundance of positive feelings. To empower others and to know that others are listening are key parts of stopping wars in their words. The beginning of a hopeful future for everyone!

I’ve always wanted to live my life in compassionate, happy, and constructive ways. I set an example that others may or may not choose to follow. There is no need to convince everyone of what I know is good for us.

Actions always speak louder than words, as beautiful as the words may be. Be yourself in the wake of change is my motto. I will lighten up, assisting many others to do the same.

It is important to note that it is not to solve others’ problems but to help them discover the best means to solve their problems themselves. I cannot wave a magic wand or open a self-help book to the right page to cure someone of alcoholism. But I can listen to them and help them find ways to deal with the issues that led them to drink. I can be there as someone to lean on if that’s what they need.”

Some Words From Founder/Director

First of all, I have to thank God for all of the opportunities given to me throughout my life in the United States. My journey here began at the age of 28, when I left my family in Nigeria. I was born in a family where giving was a must. I learned the joy of giving from my parents. My father – Mr. Gabriel Olajide Ogunduyilemi – was so happy to accommodate anyone in his home any time. He gave the gift of love to anyone needing food or accommodation. Once a classmate was sent home because of late school fees. My Dad gave his family the money to pay the late fees.

So, that is how I learned the importance of giving. My philosophy then is to help people in need. It has been in my blood to give to people and help those in need, especially poor children and their families. We are open to helping anyone that helps anyone that needs help, no matter how small their need. I really want the whole world to understand that to give is a blessing and our programs are going to benefit everyone that needs our help, like food, education help, or instruction, etc.

My main purpose of starting this NGO is to show appreciation to the United States of America for the opportunity to be in this country for so long. Papas Land will offer kindness to needy people here in the USA and in other countries. We plan to extend Papas Land Family Education Advancement Foundation programs to people around the world. The motto of Papas Land is “Educate a woman, educate the world.”

It also happens that my heart goes out to our veterans who fought to protect the USA. Without their sacrifice the USA might not be safe today. My love goes to all of our veterans, men and women, young and old. They deserve a place to stay and a job to feed their family. I want to use the opportunity I have now to provide them with free transportation to and from medical appointments if they are disabled. Papas Land will provide them transportation as a way to thank them for their efforts to help keep America safe. If people would make a small donation to the Foundation it would be a real help. I know some of these brave men and women are not well taken care of. We at Papas Land will do whatever we can do to help them, to say ”thank you.”

And we are not going to limit our helping hand to them alone. We are going to help elderly people who need transportation or some other kind of help. They are free to call us at any time if they need help. Remember that some older people do not have family who can help.

Remember what the Bible says about taking care of the elderly. The elderly nurtured and reared us in love, care and warmth. This is the time to reciprocate their love, care, and tenderness, especially now that they are too old to meet their needs unaided. Any community or nation that neglects their old ones, neglects God because it is the will of God to grow old (Isaiah 46.3-4). Where are your Elderly? Care for them and you shall reach old age..

We are here to be part of this life. With some small donations, we can achieve our goal of making everyone who comes to us smile.

It will be a great opportunity for us to establish an NGO so that it can serve as a “thank you” to the USA where I spent my youth and my useful years, the legacy I want to leave for my family here and in Africa. I will use this opportunity to thank the friends and family who support me and work hard to help establish this organization, that will help change the way people view the world. I want to use this opportunity to appeal to people to support the Papas Land Family Educational Advancement Foundation, for without this support the Foundation cannot get all of these things done.

So,we need your help. We want you to partner with us in every area. We need your support. Please call Papas Land for donations of any gift. Thank you all!

Let love lead,

Felix Ogunduyliemi
